Age UK Exeter (AUKE) is a local charity that has been working within the Exeter City Council boundary, for over 30 years.
While ageing often brings its share of challenges, such as frailty and illness, at Age UK Exeter, we’re committed to shifting this narrative. We recognise that ageing also opens doors to increased freedom, opportunities for hobbies, and travel. Our services are designed to support individuals throughout the ageing process.
Through our services we have contact with over 1,000 older people per week. As well as activities such as chair-based exercise, Qu gong and an over 50’s forum, we also have specific projects aimed at groups, including but not limited to dementia care services, carers’ support, provision of a day centre, a handyman and an information and advice service.
Our Mission is to enable older people to make the most of life, whatever their circumstances.
